I founded The Grain Guru in 2022, driven by a lifelong passion for cricket. Born and raised in South Africa, I moved to Netherlands after school and trained as a furniture maker. I began by repairing a few bats for teammates at my local club. What started as a simple hobby quickly evolved into something much more.
Today, I’m proud to have turned that passion into a career, working closely with fellow cricketers to restore and extend the life of their equipment, and connecting with people who share the same love for the game.

HONESTY
All bats are carefully assessed, and always communicated honestly about what’s possible and how long the repair is estimated to last, or when it’s time to retire it.

PLEASE NOTE: We offer a crack repair service, not a crack prevention service. We don't provide any warranty on our crack repairs as we can't control what the willow will do. We always do our very best to ensure they hold for as long as possible. Re-handles do have a 3 month warranty. Contact us if you have any problems with your re-handle within the 3 month period.
